Who & what. Robinhood Markets (Nasdaq: HOOD) — the company behind the commission-free trading app — launched its own blockchain in 2026: a fast, low-cost network built with Arbitrum's technology and anchored to Ethereum. Blocks confirm in ~100ms, fees are a fraction of Ethereum's, and markets never close.
